Ink chapter 1

The local book store, Paper & Pen, always opened early and closed late, mainly because the owner got lost in reading the books she had in her store. The owner was a short, sky blue haired nerd. There was no denying she was a nerd. If you asked her what her favorite book was, she more than likely couldn't choose because there are too many to choose her favorite from! The owner, Levy McGarden, had gotten to the shop exceptionally early today, mainly because there was a new shop opening next door. She had no idea what to expect from Metallica considering the owner was a pretty secluded person. She saw him around lunch normally walking to the café Fairy tail, the one Mira owned. She never had the guts to talk to him though. Lucy the owner of Zodiac Antiques, who always came in during lunch break, would tease her about the mysterious black haired, pierced man. In return Levy would tease Lucy about the pink haired fireman.

Lucy laughed teasingly at her friend, drawing the bookworm from her gaze at a certain new comer

"My, my Levy," The blonde chuckled, "If I didn't know better, I would say you have a crush."

Levy felt her cheeks heat instantly as she shrunk in her seat, sending a pout to her friend.

"No! That would be embarrassing! Why would you even think that?" I rolled my eyes playfully before adding "Why don't you talk to Natsu, hmm? Hey, look he's even coming over." I smirked happily at my friends shocked expression

"Wait did you signal him?!" Lucy questioned

"Maybeeeee! You need a push to talk to him more!" I whisper as Natsu gets closer

Lucy quickly mouthed "I'll get you!" to me with an angry expression, but it didn't last long at the Fireman walked up to her.

"Hey, hi I'm Natsu." Natsu introduced

I bit down on my lip to stop myself from laughing as I watched my friend bashfully greet the man. Oh this was so going to be worth it.

"I-I'm Lucy. This is my friend Levy, she owns the bookstore Paper and Pen down the street. A-actually-"

Lucy shot me such a mischievous look, I felt shivers go down my back.

"-She was just talking about the new Tattoo store that opened. Do you by any chance know of it?"

"Gajeel?" Natsu laughed, he looked over his shoulder to the blacked haired male that gave him a confused look, "Oi Gajeel someone wants to meet 'cha!" Natsu yelled to the man, much to my horror.

Lucy falls on the floor laughing, continuously whispering about karama being a bitch.

"Oi! Flame brain why'd ya call me over you? I was busy working on new tattoo designs!" The gruff man named Gajeel yelled

"Hey! Don't blame me, Luce said someone here wanted to meet you!" Natsu screamed in response

"Oh Right! Gajeel this is Levy! Levy here owns Paper and Pen next to your shop." Lucy introduced us

"H—Hi, I'm Levy McGarden. Its nice to meet you!" I stutter out with Lucy laughing in the background

"So the Shrimp has a name!" Gajeel spits out

I hope you enjoyed this as much as i enjoy writing it with my co-author! I have to say its so fun to write with Riptides! The chapters will be written by BOTH of us so if there are delays in our updating I DO SO WHOLE HEARTEDLY APOLOGIZE, sometimes getting time to write together can be hard.
