Jackie walked out the basement door and after a minute or so continued toward her car. So it hadn't worked. 'I was so sure he would follow me. Any other guy would have beaten me up the stairs after a kiss like that, but no not Steven. Why did I have to fall for a guy who's so unpredictable? With Kelso, things were easy. He's a moron and I can practically predict his next move, well most of the time. But with Steven, I never know what's gonna happen next. When I walked down those steps today, I was so certain that I would make him see that he was wrong about us. That with one very hot…very untamed, yes definitely untamed…kiss, I could make him see that we can be together, that we belong together. But no, Steven had to be so unpred-,"
Someone grabbed Jackie by the waist, stopping her mid-thought. Before she could say anything a pair of lips covered hers. Her mind told her to pull away but for some reason she couldn't will her body to move. Instead she kissed the man back, her hands tangling deep into his curly mass of hair as the kiss deepened. 'Wait curly hair? No way…it couldn't be."
The need for breath became eminent and Jackie reluctantly pulled back. She cautiously opened her eyes, afraid that her ambusher might not be who she had hope it would be. Fortunately she had nothing to fear.
"Steven?"
"What?" He replied in a rather aggravated tone.
"Hey buddy, don't get mad at me. You're the one who followed me," Jackie said, feigning innocence.
"How could I not? Where did you learn to kiss like that?" Steven asked his gazed dropping to her lips.
Jackie smiled and stopped his questioning with a kiss. Steven reacted immediately, deepening the kiss and pushing her up against her car. His hand began to move towards the hem of her shirt when Jackie started to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Steven asked pulling away.
"You're so predictable," Jackie responded, still chuckling at his expense. Steven just rolled his eyes and cut the sound short with another bruising kiss.
