I Love You

Summary: Blake apologises to Tori for using her, and also confesses his feelings for her. This takes place, again, after Return of Thunder

Author's Note: Hm... For some odd reason, I've managed to spell the word 'Disclaimer' wrong in both this fic and my last fic... I must be really tired. Don't worry. I didn't upload the previous fic with the mistake in it

Blake caught up with Tori as she was leaving the forest which held the portal to NinjaOps. "Hey, Tor, can I talk to you a moment?" he asked.

Tori paused, and then turned to look at Blake. "Sure," she said softly. "Though I'm surprised you're not with Hunter." She glanced around. "Where is he, anyway?"

"I told him to go off ahead," Blake replied. "I wanted to talk to you." Well, apologise, anyway, he added silently.

Tori shrugged. "Ok, we can talk," she said. She started walking again, with Blake next to her. "What do you want to talk about?"

"Listen, I know you're unhappy about Hunter and I deciding to stop using our Power Ranger powers, at least for the moment..." Blake began.

Tori stared at him for a long moment. "I think that unhappy might be an understatement," she said finally.

"But surely you can understand?" Blake almost begged. "Tori, this has been the second time Hunter and I have tried to attack you, Shane, and Dustin... While we have our Ranger powers, we're a threat to you."

"But you could also be a great help to us," Tori argued. "Blake, how can we defeat Lothor on our own? We need you."

"But what if...?" Then, Blake sighed, and shook his head. "Tori, I'm not going to try and argue with you," he said. "I didn't stop you to argue with you about mine and Hunter's decision."

"Then why did you stop me?" Tori wanted to know.

Blake looked down. "To apologise," he admitted. "Tori, I know that I used you to get into NinjaOps... And for that, I am truly sorry. I'd do anything to be able to take back what I did, especially now that I know the truth."

Tori looked at Blake for a long moment, and then shrugged. "It's all right," she said, looking away.

"No, it's not," Blake said, knowing, even as he spoke, that it was the truth. "I betrayed you," he added sadly. He reached out to touch Tori's hand. "Please forgive me."

Tori hesitated, and closed her eyes briefly. Should I forgive him? she wondered. She then knew the answer. She looked at Blake, and nodded slowly with a brief smile. "Yes. I forgive you. I mean it, Blake."

"Thank you, Tori." There was a moment's silence, then, "Tori, there's something else..." Blake spoke hesitatingly. He didn't know how to tell the blue Wind Ranger this.

Tori looked at him expectantly. "What is it?" she wanted to know.

Blake hesitated for a moment, gathering his thoughts together. Then, finally, "Tori, I've liked you since I first saw you," he explained. "At first, I thought that it was just a crush... But back there, on the island, I realised that it ran deeper than that." He looked into Tori's eyes, trying to see even a hint of her feelings towards him.

"What are you saying?" Tori asked.

Blake took a deep breath, and let it out slowly. "I'm saying that I love you," he answered in a rush.

Tori stared at him, not knowing what to say. How could she answer something like that? What were her true feelings.

But I already know what my true feelings are, Tori realised. She looked at Blake, then leaned forward, and kissed him.
