Maria picked up the phone in her room "hello? Over worked, underpaid Maria speaking" said Maria dryly "Maria" 'Michael?" asked Maria "yeh anyway we're all meeting at the crash down in about 10 minutes for an "hybrid-human- hustle" as Liz would put it" said Michael sarcastically "on my way space boy" said Maria.
Maria got into the Jetta and drove to the crash down. She hopped out and grabbed her purse. She knew she was welcome to all the food she wanted with out pay but took it anyway. She entered the crash down and found she was the first to arrive. She turned on all the light and suddenly someone jump her from behind; Maria could feel a gun at her head. "Listen very carefully human where are the royal 4?" asked the thing from behind "I-I don't know please don't hurt me" said Maria.
Suddenly the door opened and in walked Max and Liz together with Isabel, Michael and Tess behind. They saw Maria and the thin behind her and the tear streaming down her face "please help me" whispered Maria "Maria" Michael yelled running forth only to be stopped by Max "ah if it isn't the royal four lovely to see you all" said the thing "let Maria go" said Michael angrily "ah but if I did that I would have no way to get what I want" said the thing "we'll give you anything you want just please don't hurt Maria" said Liz "what are you crazy? "Let Maria go she has nothing to do with this" said Max "how bout I leave a warning for you instead" said the thing quickly pointing the gun to Maria's stomach and shooting. Maria screamed and fell to the floor in a pool of blood. As Michael saw he fall to the floor he saw all these flashes of the great times he had with Maria, their first kiss, the eraser room, the trip to Vegas and prom. They all ran to Maria, Max put his hand over Maria and tried to heal her "It's not working" said Max "oh god Maria" said Liz in tears "Max move out the way" said Michael pushing him slightly out the way.
Michael put his hand over the wound and it started to glow, suddenly all the blood disappeared and the wound healed leaving a gold handprint on Maria's stomach. Maria opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was Michael bending over her body with tears in his eyes "your ok" said Michael smiling "fine thanks space-boy what happened?" asked Maria looking at the hole in the uniform, her eyes widening "you were shot" said Michael. Maria looked up at Max "don't look at me Maria I wasn't the one who healed you" said Max smiling. She looked at Isabel "wasn't me" said Isabel taking her eyes off her magazine for a sec to look at Maria.
She looked up at Michael "y-you healed me?" asked Maria looking deep into his eyes, he nodded and hugged her close "hey guy's we'll leave you alone, we'll be up stairs" said Liz. They all walked up stairs excepted for Michael and Maria who remained on the floor where hey were. "I love you" said Michael "I love you too space boy" said Maria "when you got shot all theses images popped into my mind of all the great times we've had together and how much you really mean to me, don't ever leave me, I might have all these powers that give me strength but in all truth you are my main strength and I don't know what I'd do if I lost you" said Michael crying into Maria's chest "hey Space boy I aint going no where anytime soon so stop blubbering on my and kiss the living daylights out of me" said Maria as they locked into and passionate kiss.
