Danny knocked on the door. Hearing nothing, he raised his hand to knock once again. Not expecting the door to open, he pulled his fist back in time to avoid rapping his partner's chest.

His bare chest.

"Don't you ever wear shirts?" he said as McGarrett stepped out onto the porch, shutting the door behind him.

"Kitchen accident," he shrugged.

"Can't you be like, well, a normal person and put some clothes on?" he asked incredulously.

"Keep your voice down," whispered Steve, indicating his head toward the house. "We're trying to get Jolie down."

"Your kid's deaf," replied Danny, bemused.

"But she's got bat eyes and spidey sense," countered Steve.

"Thought you SEALs could handle anything that come syour way?" said Danny archly.

"Not when it comes to daughters it seems," said Steve with a heavy sigh.

Danny then watched the man before him attempted to justify himself. He'd never seen such explanation from him before. He put a stop to it when he reached out to slap his shoulder.

"It's okay to be human McGarrett," he said highly amused. "I'm a Dad too."

Finito.
