As Casey walked in the house she was going up to Derek's room. They have been dating for four months now. She loved him and was about to go tell him. He had told her last month and he said it was ok that she didn't feel that way about him right now. She heard noises coming from his room and she heard a moan. She opened his door and saw Derek and Emily in his bed having sex. Derek saw the hurt in her eyes 'Casey' he said. She just turned around and walked down stairs.

Later that night he went down stairs and saw Casey she was getting some water her eyes were red probably from crying. Derek looked at her hurt filling his body 'Casey' he said softly. Casey looked up and saw Derek a tear slid down her cheek and he went to brush it away. She backed up and went upstairs. He went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of whiskey.

He had gone straight up to his room drinking the whiskey that burned his throat. He couldn't get Casey off his mind and so he drank more. The more he drank the more memories of Casey came back to him. He went down stairs and got another bottle of whiskey. When he came back up he bumped into Casey. She saw the bottle of whiskey and looked at him 'Derek' she said. He said 'im sorry Casey' and went back to his room to drink away the memories of them together. Nora and George had went to get Derek up and saw his face down in the pillow with a note beside him saying ' I'll love her till I die'. They checked his pulse he was dead.
The rumors flew but nobody know how much she blamed herself

Nora and George went to go tell Casey what happened and to give her the note. Casey blamed herself for his death. For years he was always on her mind. Casey had started drinking it could get her mind off Derek for a little.

She found herself drinking more as memories came to her of them together. She couldn't take it anymore and went down stairs to get a bottle of whiskey. On her way up she went to the bathroom and grabbed a razor. She went to her room and started on the bottle. As she cut one of her wrists memories of them together flashed in her mind. She cut the other wrist and making sure to hit her veins on both cuts. The blood came and she finished off the bottle and clung to the picture of them together. Nora and George found her dead that morning the picture of her and Derek in her hands.
