We are born with them.
And we cannot change our destiny.
No matter how hard we try.

I lifted the lid of my sleeping courters and let the nights coolness take over me. I noticed my stomach rumble telling me it was time to feed. I took my travaling map out from my back pocket and tried to figer out if Konohagakure or Sunagakure where closer to me. I finally settled on Konohagakure. As I ran the trees seemed to blur. There was a man and a child walking up ahead. Such fools to travel in the dead of night, I thought. I emediatly stopped running and started to walk. My highly trained ears heard them talking.

" Daddy," said the child,"There's a girl over there. Maybe she can help us."
"Maybe." said the man.

Retched fools. You are my prey and I am the prediter. I could smell the blood running in thiere vians. It smelled good but not exactly sweet. Oh well. I didn't care. They would have to do if I didn't want to kill some one in braud daylight. I suddenly picked up my speed and stopped behind the man. I could hear as his heart quicked. I tossed the scrawney child aside and let her watch.

I grabbed the man's head with my right hand and his jaw with my left hand. He yelled in pain. I gripped his head tighter and leened toward his ear.

"The perfect prey makes the game, interesting"
I dug my nails into his flesh, earning another yell of pain. I pulled my hands back and watched as the blood fell from his lips. I pulled my head back and lunged into his neck. The blood. Blood. That is what people-Monsters like me lived for. Without it we would probaly die out.

I tossed the the discarded body aside. I made my way over to the girl. I put my hand on her cheek and moved it to her chin, leaving a trail of blood. I pulled her head up gently forcing her to look up at me. "My name is Rayne. What is your name?"
"Rayne! As in, Vampire King Kagan's daughter! Please don't hurt me!" I stood up.
" Just answer the question I asked."
" Okay... my name's Sora."
" Well then, Sora, You are very lucky It was I who came and not anyone else... Other wise you probaly wouldn't get to run away." I winked at the girl as she started to realise what I had said.
" Thank you Rayne."

I turned around just as the sun started to go up. Konoahgakure was going to be a interesting place.
