When life gives you Len-kun
Yes, the title has a little word-play going on.
Heed it as a warning, lol.
Len waited at the bus in the rain.
He had no shelter, no umbrella. He liked it.
There was only one bus left to come that day.
Len wished he was inside, that he was warm…
But yet he liked the rain too.
So he waited for the final bus of the day in the cold, letting the water fall through his yellow hair.
The others sometimes said he looked like a lemon because of the bright yellow, but Len ignored it.
Just like he did now with all the cares he had in the world.

The bus came twenty minutes late.
Len approached the gray bus with a slight limp.
He had sprained his ankle on the way to his stop, and now winced at his less than pleasant walk.
"Need a hand?"
A steady grip gently held Len up, lifting him from under the arm.
"Kaito-sama?"
The blue-haired male smiled at Len, sheltering him from the rain.
"Len-kun, what are you doing out here in the rain? Come on, I'll dry you off."
And so Kaito walked Len to his house, keeping the rain from his lemon-yellow hair.

"Thank you, Kaito-sama, I really appreciate it."
Len hugged the taller male around the waist, and Kaito leaned over to hug the smaller boy back.
He was careful not to hurt Len's ankle any more than it already was injured.
"Len-kun… I will take care of you."
