He starred at the sky.
Lying on his back, he looked past the stars, into the dark abyss that was space.
Antauri would be looking for him soon, he knew. Because of Skeleton King's increased attacked, they were on high alert and were rarely alone.
But he wanted to be alone, so he hid on top of the Super Robot's head, thinking and evaluating to war.
Something was off about the attacks. He knew it, and he wondered if his team did as well.
The locations, the enemies. None of them made sense.
There wasn't a pattern to them. They were really… random.
His thoughts paused. Gibson would be proud of his thoughts.
"So, this is where you're hiding."
He jumped up, already in his battle stance, only to relax when he saw who it was that spoke.
"Sorry Antauri," he said with a small chuckle. "I just needed to get away and think."
"Quite understandable. The previous few weeks have been quite hectic."
He turned away from Antauri. "Hey, do you think Skeleton King's planning something big? What with the way thing have been going…"
"I do believe so. We must keep our guard up. And that means you need rest."
He nodded to his teacher. "You're right, as always."
Antauri gave him a small push towards the hatch he had opened. "Now, get some sleep."
And with one last glance at the lightening sky, the leader of the Super Robot Monkey Team and his second in-command headed inside.
