Warren woke up to get ready for school as usual." Another day at school". Even though it was a school for powers it was still school. Still rules, homework, etc.
As soon as he got there everyone avoided him and he sorta liked it. "Class we have a new student now be nice". Warren looked up and was hoping to see a girl acting all girly but was surprised to see that she was nothing like that. She had dark brown eyes with light brown skin wearing nearly all black.
She sat next to Warren and looked forward and said nothing.
Warren finished his next two classes and went to lunch. He was already in a bad mood and he got even madder when he realized that the new girl was sitting at his table.
"Up now" he said and the new girl looked up at him and he saw that she was crying. She prepared to get up when he stopped her and she sat back down.
"I don't normally do this but what's wrong?" he asked her. "Why do you wanna know?" she asked. "Strangely I have no idea" he said looking deep in thought.
She looked at him and said "My grandmother died and …I…I didn't want to come here but I had to and my parents keep saying 'you need to keep training and be a good hero when you get older' and I just feel pressured." She finished and looked at him and he just stared.
"So…what are you gonna do about it? Do you even have powers?" he asked staring at her. She put her hands up and they lit up in flames. Warren looked shocked and then he looked moody again. The bell rang and the new girl rushed out before Warren could say anything.
Warren finished his exam in math his least favorite subject. RIIIIIIIING! He rushed out and saw the new girl at her locker. He rushed up to her and she nearly jumped out her skin when she turned and saw him. "Hey, I uh, didn't get your name. I'm Warren Peace."
"I know who you are. Crystal Right. Is that all you wanted. My name."
"Uh yeah. See you around, maybe." he said.
