Matt Russo, a 13 year old boy was going to see his 13 year old best friend, Lionel Jade. They had a spot they liked to hang out at. That spot is a giant tree in the middle of a big field. They made that tree into a tree house a year earlier. This world they lived in had magic. They met up at the park and played Frisbee until they got bored. They went to the tree house to find a package for them. They open it up to find a smooth oval shaped rock.
"Lame" Matt said while Lionel threw it on the ground.
A week passed and it was a normal week except for when they went to the tree house to find the rock floating. Matt being very curious touched the rock which began opening a portal sucking Matt in.
"Matt!" Lionel yelled as he too was sucked into the portal.
The portal sent them to a room in which was black with what looked like white ooze coming from the walls. A dark grey being came from the floor with white eyes but red fangs and claws.
"I am Croten, the being of anger and hatred." Croten said.
"I have brought you here to test you, I will let you live but you must pass my tests" Croten said slashing them both making them fly backwards.
"Where are we at Lionel" Matt said.
"I don't know it looks as girls would say cray-cray" Lionel said laughing.
"Now is not the time to be joking around" Matt said.
The sky went dark and skeletons came from the ground. A girlish laughter came from behind them.
"Fresh meat" The girl said after they turned around.
