I saw a popular Tumblr post around this and well, I thought I'd give this a try XD

Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff had started a small ritual soon after they had come together with Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor to found Hogwarts. Every evening, the two women would meet on the secret Founder's balcony, which offered a wonderful view over the grounds, to talk about the things that had happened lately, or discuss women matters, while drinking a good glass of wine.

It was their moment of silence and relaxation, away from the men who sometimes turned into children, behaving immature and just not like the intelligent and grown up wizards they really were.

Under lights of the stars and the moon, with the hot summer air cooling down around them, they would gossip a little bit, or entrust each other their deepest secrets.

One night, the night after the Founders had decided that the first students were to arrive on the first day of September, was different though.

Completely different.

Rowena and Helga were just discussing the odd ideas they had had on the school's motto they were yet to choose as a horrible roar filled the air, one that made the hairs at their necks stand up and caused the earth to shake slightly.

"What was this?" Helga asked, her eyes wide in concern – they both knew the answer to this, but still Helga needed Rowena to say it out loud to really believe that this was real.

"Obviously this must be one of the dragons that are said to be living in the Forbidden Forest," the other woman answered dryly, taking a sip from her wine. "But I doubt that anything will happen, the people in the village said that the dragons never leave the forest. They feel like it is some kind of an unspoken agreement – the villagers do not go into the forest, the dragons do not come to Hogsmeade."

"Oh, okay...," Helga sighed, leaning back into her chair, only to jump to her feet again, staring at the outskirts of the forest where two figures were visible in the light of the setting sun. "By Merlin..."

The two women hurried down a hidden staircase and ran towards Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin who came to an halt in front of the women, both panting heavily.

Though he was obviously lacking air, Godric was laughing hysterically while Salazar looked as if he was about to pull his sword or his wand to attack the other man.

"What happened?" Rowena asked, eyeing the twigs that were tangled in both men's hair, the scratchs they both had and how some of the twigs seemed to glow, as if they had been on fire earlier.

"I wanted to see if there really are dragons inside the forest," Godric explained, looking extremely excited. "And well, there are!"

"You pride yourself with bravery, but I would say that bravery and stupidety are extremely close inside of you, Godric!" Salazar spat angrily, glaring shortly at Godric before checking his beard for singed hairs. "You are just mental!"

"I never asked you to come along, Salazar!"

"Someone had to, because otherwise you would be dead now! Roasted! Like a boar on a feast! You know what he did?! He tickled that dragon! He TICKLED a DRAGON! Because he was bored!"

Helga and Rowena just stared at the two men for a moment, not really believing what they had just heard. Then Rowena said:"Well... we were looking for a motto that would teach our students something... I think we might have one. 'Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus'."
