Robin and Starfire were sitting on a park bench, enjoying their time together. Starfire, of course, was chattering on and on, while Robin just sat next to her. He let her words wash over him, half-comprehending what she said...
"And so I went to the store, and she was there, and she..."
Suddenly, Robin sat up, alert. Starfire didn't seem to notice. Robin had been glancing around at the beautiful park view, when a little something caught his eye...
"They got into an argument, and..."
It was a girl, wildly running across the grass. She was dark-haired, and wore a dark purple cloak, which obscured most of her body. Robin gazed at her. She was so beautiful, so... distinctive...
Robin stood up, and Starfire quizzically asked, "What's the matter?" But Robin just walked away from her, and went towards the other girl.
She was still running, running away from who knows what. Robin jogged up to her, and she turned toward him, fear in her eyes. When she recognized him a friend, she gradually slowed down...
She burst into tears, and Robin comforted her, hugging her and patting her back...
"Robin!"
"Raven..."
Together, they walked out of the park. They smiled fondly at each other, and were happy.
Robin wasn't sure, but he thought he faintly heard another girl scream, "Robin! Come baaack!..."
