Just a little drabble I wrote for a prompt. :D

"Wow, why didn't anyone think to tell me about this before?" Blair asked as she dropped onto loft's couch with a long sigh.

"I did, you just wouldn't listen," Dan said, following her into the living room.

"Well, if I listened to everything you had to say, Humphrey, then I would have to walk into traffic to save myself from boredom," she returned, with a grin.

"Even after that, you still have the need to insult me?" Dan huffed.

"There will always be a special place in my heart for insulting you, no matter how many surprising talents you might have," Blair said thinking about the day's events.

"Hey, guys cut it out for a bit, and just relax," Nate called as he came over sit between the bickering pair.

"Fine, Humphrey I will admit, you do have a certain way with your hands, but Nate is still the pretty one." she said with a slight shrug.

"That is one thing I can agree with you on, Waldorf," Dan reciprocated, a lop-sided grin covering his face.

"Wait," Nate said hesistantly, looking back and forth between the two.

Blair leaned over and gave the confused boy a kiss, and Dan nudged his knee affectionately.

"You know, it's still early." Nate said, standing and smiling.

"What are you implying, Nathaniel?" Blair asked, a smile forming on her lips.

"I think I might have a little left in me." Nate answered, returning her smile.

"Guys, I really don't think I need anymore."

"C'mon man..." Nate started.

"Daniel, do you know what happens when I don't get what I want? I get it anyway, but there is more pain involved." Blair said coldly, placing herself directly in front of the wide-eyed young man.

Dan looked at Nate who was pleading with his eyes, and Blair whose soft-red lips were somewhere between a smirk and a snarl.

"Fine, just give me a minute to get everything ready." Dan said as he stood up.

"See, isn't this much easier?" Blair said sweetly.

"For you, maybe. So, who wants plain and who wants blueberry?" he said as he began reheating the waffle-iron.

Blair reset the table and Nate grabbed the syrup, while Dan began preparing more batter. The three sat happily in silence as they ate their second round of the Humphrey family waffles.

The End.
