I don't own The Big Bang Theory or the characters.

For the first few years since they met, Leonard didn't make eye contact. He would look at the floor, the wall behind her or at the clothes she was wearing. He wasn't staring at her boobs while talking to her like Howard did, he wouldn't not look at her because he hated eye contact like Sheldon and he would actually talk to her unlike Raj.

But he would look at her. When she wasn't looking at him, she could feel his eyes looking at her. But once she looked back, he would go back to the floor, admiring it or something. Every time she was there, for some reason the floor became interesting.

And then they left to the North Pole.

As he was talking to her, asking why she gave him that blanket and she lied to him, she saw his eyes. They met, for the first time. She saw him. They were terrified, maybe it was because he was going to do something new, or maybe it was because he was leaving her.

But she saw them. His brown eyes, the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. She didn't make a big deal out of it, out of the eye contact that happened between them.

Until she didn't have them for three months.

For three months there weren't any moments in which she tried to find his eyes, during dinner or while Sheldon was talking about something no one cared about. He wasn't there to play the game she was sure he didn't know about. He wasn't there to talk to her, and that made her feel heartbroken.

And then, they came back.

They all came back, and he kissed her. They kissed, she pushed him into her apartment. She saw his eyes again, tired from the trip, clearly happy from seeing her again. And then, Sheldon came, made Leonard look to the floor. Not like the other times he had looked at the floor but it made Penny remember those moments. She hoped they wouldn't be back.

And then he left.

He left to get Sheldon back from Texas, but he was back in no time – or so he promised. It took him a full day to come back, a full day of her not seeing his eyes. They weren't hers but they helped her see ahead. Every time she couldn't see what was ahead of her, they did.

And when they broke up the first time, the time where he poured his heart to her, when his eyes said the same thing her mouth did, and the 'I love you' came out, she was lost.

She didn't have them to guide her to where she needed to go.

It was worse to see him – and them – being with someone else. She tried to deny it, but just like his eyes, hers didn't lie either. Everyone knew she missed him, and they were right. She was jealous because it was apparently easy for the other girl to have him, but it wasn't easy for her to.

And while they were together, while she didn't have him, she also didn't have his eyes. She kept being lost in the fog, like she was blind. She continued to not be able to see ahead of her, and that scared her.

Until she had him.

It took her a while to actually get him and his eyes again. She was scared just the same, but she could finally see ahead of her.

Every time they were mad at each other or fighting, she was blind for that amount of time. And when they were finally okay with each other, she would smile because she could see again.

Until one day, Leonard was blind.

She could still see in front of her, she needed to help him see the same way he had helped her for decades.

And then he was gone.

She couldn't see for days, but that was because her sight was blind from the tears. When they left, she could see clearly. It was surprising to know she could see ahead of her.
She could see him. Again.

The End

For those that didn't understand the end, she died. That's something I did again. Sorry! (Not sorry) :) Please don't hate me for doing it again!

Also, thirty stories! Ow!
