The tower was dark as I wandered the halls, the moon shown brightly through the windows, making my green eyes glisten. My uniform squeaked as my legs rubbed together, making my way towards Robin's hallway. Suddenly, I heard someone having a conversation, it almost sounded like Raven and Robin. I slowly turned the corner, and to my dismay I saw him, his perfect hand holding a beautiful scarlet rose in front of Raven's face. She was blushing, I could even she it in the dark. He began to get closer and suddenly locked his lips on hers. My heart shattered, I stopped breathing. I ran back to my room praying that they couldn't hear me crying. My door slid behind me and I pushed my back against the cold steel. I started to shake furiously; my mind was literally doing summersaults.

"Are you sure you saw her." Robin voice was apprehensive. Raven answered.

"I'm positive she was standing right behind the corner staring at us." I then quickly closed my eyes and flew to my bed, and threw my purple silk sheets over my head, trying to drown out the sobbing. Someone knocked on my door, and then quietly slid it open.

"Star, you awake?" Robin's voice gently whispered. I pretended to be sleeping and rose my head sleepily.

"Robin, is that you friend." That was hard to say after I had just seen him kissing Raven. He no longer felt close to me in any way.

"Yeah, just checking up on you." He started to turn away, but then hesitated and turned toward me again. He came to the side of my bed and lifted my chin so I made eye contact. My throat began to burn with intensity or a thousand suns, tears that felt like the size of bowling balls were about to plummet on to my cheek bones. Raven stood in my doorway, I looked at her and then it happened, the tears ran down my face and I tried to stop them. I started to shake, and he took me in his arms. I pulled away, feeling cheated and deceived. He reached out his glove and wiped a tear away, and he held my face in both of his strong hands. At that moment I loathed him in such a way that was unhealthy, but at the same time I wanted nothing more than for him to sit and run his hands through my hair and tell me it was all just a bad dream. But when I pulled away, he got off my bed and went to join Raven, the girl he truly loved.
