"Today's the day." Seishiro sighed. He lifted his fingers and exhaled, breathing the cool air that breezed through him. Seishiro looked at the sky. The storms clouded and blocked the radiance of the sun. It was the day Seishiro left and hurt Subaru. His right eye full of blindness as the other eye saw the dark sky, it began to rain.

"What're you doing?" Fuuma asked as he entered the vicinity.

"Just thinking how beautiful the sky is. So, how'd it go with Kamui?" Seishiro asked.

Fuuma smiled, leading him to think it was all good, "I'm covered in his blood. Too bad I can't kill him yet. His wishing wouldn't cease. That's why everybody else must die around him." Fuuma said.

It was true. Fuuma was drenched with blood, his hair still wet from the rain. Seishiro stared at Fuuma and left, "It's time to see an old friend of mine, I probably won't come back." Seishiro said. He took out a cigarette and a lighter, and then decided not to have a smoke.

Seishiro walked towards the Rainbow Bridge, seeing Subaru waiting as he walked towards him. Subaru surrounded the area with his Kekkai and was waiting.

"Soft hearted as usual. The kind Subaru doesn't wish to put anyone in danger." Seishiro took out a cigarette, and Subaru lit it. As Seishiro puffed smoke, he snatched Subaru by the hand. His right eye, bandaged. They started fighting, leading the fight, battling with their onmyouji skills.

Seishiro knew he was going to die. Yet, he couldn't help having fun seeing Subaru's angry face. The Rainbow Bridge was a wreck. But they were almost done. Running towards each other, hands in killing position, Seishiro stopped. Remembering Hokuto-chan's words, "Now you will die by your loved one."

Blood splattered everywhere. Seishiro smiled. Subaru had killed him; his hand stabbed him right near his heart. Blood seeped through Subaru's fingers. He started to cry, Seishiro watched him, the person he treasured most, but he couldn't explain it to him.

"Why?" Subaru cried.

"You...ask why?" Seshiro tried to speak normally.

Seishiro looked up, his hair covering his eyes. Subaru tried to look through him, but Seishiro's hair was in the way. His life was slipping away as he felt his precious loved one clinging onto him and crying.

"Do you…remember when I killed…Hokuto-chan?" Seishiro tried to speak. Subaru still held onto him, his face covered with tears.

"She placed a spell on me…the only one she knew and could do…She told me…that one day, the person…I loved…would kill me…" Seishiro gasped.

Subaru's eyes widened. Now he realized. The death of his twin sister, Hokuto, had made a promise to him. Not directly at him, but he knew his twin sister.

"Now…I've kept my part…in her promise..." Seishiro said, looking at Subaru. Subaru stared at his dying lover, not realizing that Kamui and the others had arrived.

Seishiro went closer to Subaru and spoke softly in his ear, hoping the wind would not allow Subaru to hear what he said. But there was no wind. Subaru heard him say, with the expense of his own life, "I…love you…Subaru-kun…".

Subaru's eyes widened. It was the first time he had heard him say that. The two powerful onmyouji's were in love. But one powerful onmyouji, had to die so his lover wouldn't suffer anymore. Subaru's kekkai broke and shattered into a thousand pieces. Usually the kekkai would only break if someone's heart had died or broken.

Fuuma looked up. "Seishiro…I'll fulfill your wish for you."
