Well, got this idea a wile back and had it written for a while too but I haven't got it around to posting it for a while. Please R&R.Chapter 1
Harry awoke suddenly from his deep slumber to see his small, two-room apartment above Flourish and Blotts filled with sunlight. He looked over to his alarm clock which read 10:00. Harry got out of bed and decided to take a shower.
Harry got out of the shower thinking about one question which had eaten him alive for many days. What am I going to do for a living? Harry had recently graduated from. Sure he had a part time job at Quality Quiditch Supplies but he didn't want to do that his whole life. He wanted to do something more interesting than standing behind a cash register selling broomsticks to 10 year olds. He knew he could be something better. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Since he defeated Voldermort for good in the seventh year he hadn't decided what he wanted to do.
Harry jumped out of his seat when he heard a large brown barn owl pecking on the window. Harry ran over to the window and let it in. It hovered in front of Harry exposing the letter it was carrying. Harry untied and read:
Dear Harry,
Hey, how you doing. Well, congratulations on graduating from Hogwarts. I'm going to be in Diagon Alley tomorow. How about we meet in the Leaky Cauldron at let's say 2:00.
Sincerely,
Oliver Wood
Harry turned the paper over and wrote and scribbled down:
Dear Oliver,
Sure, sounds good. See you there.
Sincerely,
Harry Potter
Harry tied the letter back onto the barn owl and it flew out the window. Harry shut and locked the window behind it.
Harry thought about what Oliver was doing in Diagon Alley today. He was recently was named the youngest captain of the American Quiditch team. With the World Cup so close what would he be doing in Europe?
"Well, I guess we'll find out," Harry said as he walked off to get ready to go to work.
