Hey I personally would like to thank you for choosing to read this, it's my first story so bare with me if screw up or it's horrible…uhh anyway now for the story

The gang was walking down a path where the previous village said led to a plagued village…but if it was a plague wouldn't it have spread to the people who told them? Something was strange and they knew it…but there was a mention of a shard and Kagome felt one so they decided to check it out.

InuYasha: "Kagome do you sense any other shards?"

Kagome: "Sorry only one."

InuYasha: "Then it isn't Naraku….DAMN IT!!"

InuYasha punches the ground in a fit of rage then continues still on the quest for the one shard

Miroku: "Hey Sango do you think it's Kohaku?"

Kagome: "It isn't, this shard is tainted more than Kohaku's."

Sango: "Oh…well that's a relief I guess, but who could have a shard of the jewel? I thought Naraku, Kohaku, Kouga, and us we're the only ones with them."

Miroku: "Maybe Naraku gave a shard to someone to do their dirty work."

As the gang neared the village, a scent of rotting corpses that everyone could smell filled the air…

Kagome: "Ewww!! What is that smell!?

Just then the gang sees something they would've never thought to see, a revenant of the damned…

InuYasha: "That…looks human…but smells dead…what the hell is it?!"

Miroku: "Maybe Kagura's 'Dance of the Dead' is the work of this?"

InuYasha: "No definetly not…I woulda' smelled Kagura's scent by now…"

InuYasha slices it with the Tetsuisaiga, cutting it in half…but the legs keep moving and the body eventually starts pushing itself towards them.

Miroku: "WIND TUNNEL!! That got rid of it, but what it was we probably shouldn't know…"

InuYasha: "Keh, that thing was weak! I could've done it with my windscar!"

The Gang looks around and notices they are surounded by The Damned, some are huge, others are small. It appears even demons fell victim to this plague...
