Excuse my mistakes in the characterisation for FHIF – I haven't seen the show in ages, and never before written a fic including it. I wrote this a while ago and found it in my laptop, so I decided to post it!

Disclaimer: I don't own Sonny With A Chance or Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends! But I do own the crazy mind that came up with this crossover :P

Fallen Into Fosters

Prologue

Something's wrong.

Something is really, really, wrong.

I think I know what that something might be. It all started when Sonny forced me to watch some crazy animated show with her and the kid she was babysitting. CDC, watching animated shows? That was the one of first things that was wrong today.

When there was a flash of light from the television, I could tell it wasn't normal. What kind of TV flashes – more like zaps – lights like that? Definitely not a normal one.

And when I found myself on the floor of a purple entrance hallway, I was sure something had gone wrong somewhere. Everything looked…animated, for some reason. I stood up, and noticed a mirror. Looked in it, and gasped. I was me, just the same as before – oh, thank goodness – but I was standing in the hallway of the very place that had been on TV, not so long ago.

I was standing in the main hall of Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends.

Why that was, I didn't know. But I can't deny I almost jumped six feet in the air, screaming, when someone suddenly tapped me on the shoulder.

"Excuse me?" It was the voice of a girl. I turned around. An animated redhead, wearing a bright green sweater and a purple skirt. Why I noticed these details was completely beyond me – I was pretty overwhelmed by the fact that she was a computer animation. Two-dimensional. Heck, the whole place was two-dimensional! "Hey, aren't you a little old to be looking for a home for an imaginary friend?" The girl said, looking curious.

"I'm not actually from here." I started to say.

"Oh! You're not? Where are you from, then?" She said, looking shocked and confused.

"Uh…the real world." I replied.

"This is the real world." She said simply, "Oh, and I'm Frankie." She held out her hand for me to shake. I hesitated. Are animated people like ghosts? Would I be a ghost in this world?

"Hey, I'm Bloo! Ohhhh, who's this?" Another voice asked, from somewhere near my knees. I looked down, to see this strange sort of blue blob-like creature, looking up at me with huge, curious eyes.

"I am Chad Dylan Cooper." I introduced myself proudly – they must know who I am. Everyone knew CDC.

"That really doesn't help." The girl – Frankie – said.

"Why not? I'm the greatest actor of our generation." I replied, with my signature smirk. The curious blob and the weird girl both looked even more confused.

And at that point, I was sure something is wronger than wrong.

So, what'd ya think?

Peace & Reviews! :D
