I don't own Naruto.

Naruto sat in Ichirachu Ramen angrily folding brightly colored pieces of square paper. He grunted slightly, sticking his tongue out the corner of his mouth lost in utter concentration, a rare occurrence for the blond haired boy.

The blond let out an outcry of anguish, grabbing his blond locks in frustration. Why did the paper hate him so much? It looked so easy when Sakura and Ino were doing it!

"Dobe, what are you doing?" Sasuke stalks in. He heard the oh-so familiar groan from outside and was curious so he popped his head in, to find his friend surrounded up messed up pieces of paper, looking as if he was about to go fox-mode and light them on fire.

"Trying to make a thousand cranes! But! The stupid paper hates me!" Naruto exclaimed, pointing to the heap of failure next to him.

"Care to explain why?" Sasuke smirked, sitting next to him on a stool casually picking up a piece of paper.

"Because I saw Ino and Sakura folding the paper thingies yesterday, and I asked them why. They looked rather scary actually… those manic grins…" Naruto paused at this point to shiver in his seat. Sasuke felt a little sorry for the blond, he himself had been subject to those grins many times before. "Right! So I asked them why they were doing that, and they answered that if they make a thousand then their wish will come true! So I'm making a thousand so my wish of becoming Hokage will come true! Believe it!"

Sasuke smiled, looking up from his folding at the blond in his typical "believe it" pose. Sasuke stood up and began to walk towards the outside, right before he left he turned and faced Naruto and let his perfect crane soar over and land right before Naruto.

"Good luck, dobe. I've already made my thousand."

I felt like writing, so I made this little one-shot.

You can take it however you want.

The idea of Sasuke making origami just works in my mind….
