As Time Passes By:
Chapter 1: The Element Of One:
Shadow is walking in the dark forest. He is saddened yet again. It's been over 50 years and he still mourns the death of Maria. He really loved her. But these damned humans had to take her life away! '
"Why? Why did these damned humans take Maria's life away? She did nothing to harm this planet!" said Shadow.
Shadow suddenly stopped at the deepest part of the dark forest. There he saw Maria's grave. He comes here every night to lay flowers and pay his respects to her. After all, he still loves her.
"That night Maria died, she didn't know this but i gave a part of my soul to her. My love for her is everlasting and a part of me is with her because of the fact that I gave a part of me soul to her. I am always with her," said Shadow softly.
Shadow lays his flowers on Maria's grave like always. All of a sudden, GUN troops come around.
"There he is! After him!" the GUN Commander shouted to his troops.
"Fuck! Do they always have to ruin Maria's peace! These guys are shit heads! Never respecting the dead! Looks like I'll have to make them suffer by using the power of chaos," said Shadow.
The GUN soldiers come charging at Shadow. Shadow then takes out a chaos emerald.
"CHAOS BLAST!"
The chaos blast instantly killed the GUN soldiers. But then again, Chaos Blast is a very strong attack of chaos.
Shadow starts to cry. He wonders why these GUN Soldiers are always trying to disturb Maria's peace. He is Maria's protector. He'll do whatever it takes to keep Maria's soul in peace. Technically, keeping Maria's soul in peace means keeping a part of his soul in peace. After all, he did give a part of it to her at the last minute before she got killed by GUN.
"I will protect your soul Maria...even if it means i have to die too..." whispered Shadow.
