Today is the day, today is my birthday. I am really happy inside, but I'm going to act like I didn't care.

So I ride the bicycle to school and met my friends.

First, I met Tajima and Mihashi.

"Hi Izumi!" Tajima said, cheerfully as usual.

"Oh, hello." I replied.

"Hey Izumi, isn't it your birthday today??" Tajima said.

"Izumi-kun's birthday?" Mihashi asked.

Then Hamada surprisingly went to us.

"Izumi's birthday, ey?" Hamada said. He almost shouted and told everyone that today is my birthday. But fortunately, I quickly closed Hamada's mouth.

"Why did you say that!?" I replied, angrily.

"Well, it is okay for everyone to celebrate your birthday!"

"But I'm 17 now, I don't need any childish party like that." I answered.

"But didn't Mihashi have his birthday party in his house?" Tajima replied.

"Mi-Mihashi had a birthday party without inviting me!?" Hamada said. Mihashi blushed. "But it is okay…" Hamada smiled.

I am glad no one realizes that today is my birthday. Everyone went home except Mihashi, Tajima, Hamada and I.

I stared at the window in my class. The view was beautiful. Nishiura has a great view. Then I looked at the 3 people (Tajima, Mihashi and Hamada). "Why are you 3 here?"

"I-Izumi-kun, I want to celebrate your birthday party." Mihashi said.

"Absolutely!!" Tajima answered. "And I want to join too, birthday boy!" Hamada said.

"Ok then, it is only the 4 of us, right?" I replied. "What should we do?"

"By the way, I brought a present for you! This is from Mihashi and me." Tajima said and blinked at Mihashi. Mihashi blushed. "Tha-thank you Tajima." Mihashi said. "Thank you too, Tajima." I smiled.

"Um… I don't bring any presents, I didn't know it is your birthday today." Hamada said. "Ah, it is okay Hamada." I suddenly got an idea. What about the 4 of us cycle around the school? The view is great and the breeze is cool…

We cycled around the school. It was fun, and the 4 of us was ecstatic. The view was absolutely great and the wind was cool. When we were cycling, Hamada accidentally fall. We laughed.

After we cycled. We stopped and sat at a bench. Tajima wanted me to open the present he (and Mihashi) gave me. I opened it. It was a big bag of Tajima's favorite snack. We shared the snack happily.

"Today is a great day, isn't it birthday boy?" Hamada said.

"Why… Did you call me birthday boy again!?" I answered. I don't like being called birthday boy. Then we fight. Tajima giggled looking at us fighting. But still, I always won! After that, we went home.

Even tough it was only the 4 of us, we were very happy. It wasn't a party, but it was a great day. Well, maybe we could celebrate Abe's birthday like this in the next upcoming 11 December?
