Bane was lost.
He sighed and pulled out the map Saeki had given him.
Left from the train station, walk straight, take a right...
Wait a minute.
He studied the map carefully then turned it upside down. Or what he thought was upside down...
"Damn it!" Bane cursed as he realized he had read the map upside down the whole time.
So where was he now?
He looked to his right and saw a school. Might as well get some directions...
Bane walked toward the school. As he got closer he could make out the nameplate.
"Hyoutei..." he read.
It sounded familiar but he shrugged it off and continued walking.
No one was around the front of the school so he walked around to the back, tennis courts coming into view.
Then Bane remembered something. It was Saturday. No one would be at school on Saturday!
Cursing again, he went over and sat down to rest in the shade of a nearby tree.
It felt relaxing, Bane thought, as his eyelids became heavy and he closed them, putting his arms behind his head and leaning his head against the tree.
Crack
Bane opened an eye and peered around.
Not seeing anything, he closed his eye.
Crack
A bit louder. Bane opened his eyes and looked up into the tree.
Crack... Crash!
The branch above him gave way, it and a figure landing on top of him.
He blinked then tried to get up but his efforts were subdued.
"Mmmm..."
He looked down and came face to face with a pair of sleepy filled eyes.
"Huh...? Who... are... you...?" the blond boy rubbed his eyes and stiffled a yawn.
"Get off me!" Bane growled.
Jirou looked at their current position and - yawning again - rolled over onto the grass.
"Gomen..." he said, laying on the grass.
Bane sighed but then something came to mind.
"Why are you here?" he asked.
"Because..." a yawn.
A smirk. Just slightly.
"You're not suppose to be here?"
Jirou turned his head to Bane. "Maybe..."
Bane began to get up when...
"Don't tell!" Jirou practically tackled him to the ground.
"Get off!" Bane pushed him off.
Jirou pouted and crossed his arms. "Someone's grumpy today!"
"I'm not in the best of moods..."
"You should sleep more often!"
"What?"
"Sleep more! I sleep all the time and I'm always happy!"
"Easier said than done..."
"Aww, c'mon! It is easy!"
"You're too hyper."
Jirou was bouncing up and down. That there was proof enough.
"Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!" Jirou began to chant.
"Look you-"
"Jirou."
"... Look Jirou, I don't have time! I'm suppose to be somewhere."
"I'm sure you have time..." A yawn.
"No, I'm late as it is and- what are you doing?" Bane raised an eyebrow at Jirou as he leaned back.
"Tired..." Jirou yawned again and fell onto Bane.
"Not again! Wake up!"
Jirou snuggled into Bane's chest and fell asleep.
Though the blond boy looked light, that didn't help Bane at the least.
He gritted his teeth showing that he gave up and slumped against the tree he rested by earlier.
Adjusting his position, Bane shut his eyes after taking one last look at Jirou.
Huh... cute kid... He smirked and fell asleep.
Perhapes running errands in the future won't be so bad from now on...
DAS: I hope it was good. n.n' Again, very sorry for the wait! Review if you'd like.
