I watched the Blonde In The Game the other day and I thought the ending should have been different. So here's just a little short fic of what I thought should have happened...

Disclamier: Don't own Bones becuase if I did...hmm...the things I could do!! (insert evil laugh here)

It was bright sunny Saturday morning in Washington D.C where Dr. Temperance Brennan and Special Agent Seeley Booth walked happily into the local zoo accompanied by Booth's young son Parker. The last week had been hard for both Booth and Brennan. Howard Epps had been toying with them again, and Brennan had killed a man. She took that very hard, but she knew what she did was right. If she hadn't have killed him Booth probably wouldn't be there.

So there they were enjoying there Saturday. Booth had some convincing to do to get Brennan out of the lab but he was successful. Parker, on the other hand, was more then happy to come with.

"I'm glad you came with Bones," Booth said as they stopped to look at the hippos.

"Me to!," Parker yelled excitedly standing next to her watching the hippos and laughing.

They continued through the zoo stopping to look at various animals before the came to the children's petting zoo.

"Daddy, daddy, can I feed the goats?" Parker asked sticking his hand out for some quarters.

"Sure bub," he replied handing him some quarters.

"I never liked feeding the goats," Brennan said.

"Why not Bones?" Booth asked.

She sighed and looked at him, "Promise not to laugh?"

"Promise," he said smiling.

"When I was 7 I was with my parents and Russ at the zoo. Russ and I both got to feed the goats. I walked in and they all started to surround me, so I ran and they all started running after me. My dad then had to run in and pick me up and carry me out. So I've been afraid ever since."

Booth snorted trying desperately to keep a straight face.

"Booth," Brennan whined.

"Sorry, just got a funny mental picture of a little Bones running away from a goat." He said laughing quietly.

"It wasn't just one goat, it was like 20!" she said defensively.

A few moments passed before either one spoke again.

"I got you something," Booth said looking over in Brennan's direction.

"What?" she asked watching Parker petting a little brown goat.

"Come here," he said putting her in front of him, "Close your eyes."

"Booth," she whined again.

"Come on close your eyes." He said again.

She sighed but then gave in closing her eyes.

"Now no peeking," he said laughing.

"I won't," she replied.

They walked a few feet to the left before Booth took his hands off of her shoulders.

"Open," he said smiling.

Brennan opened her eyes and saw a small red looking dog house. Only there wasn't a dog lying in it, but a pig. Next to it on the fence was a small gold plate. Engraved on it was:

Jasper

Dedicated to Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan

Forever and Always

You're Friend,

Seeley Booth
