I came up with this idea in History one day last week. We were talking
about Hinduism and Buddhism, and monks. So I started thinking about
Chichiri.

What Kind of Monk Are You?
Chichiri was sitting under the shade of a tree, fishing. He was relaxed, and felt that right then, everything was perfect.
And it was until he felt the presence of others. He opened his eyes and saw that he was surrounded by his fellow shichiseishi and their Miko.
"Konnichiwa! How can I help you?" Chichiri asked.
Each and every one of his friends looked a little upset, and had their arms crossed. Miaka was the one to reply. "Alright Chichiri. The jig is up. What kind of monk are you?"
"Yea! You don't have a shaved head!" Mitsukake said.
"And we didn't find you at a monestary," Hotohori added.
Chichiri smiled slightly, then shouted, "I'm a singing monk na no da?!"
Everyone fell over.
Chichiri put his fishing rod down, and picked up his staff. "Ya see here?" He pointed to the top of his staff. "This makes music and records my voice on top of it na no da!"
Everyone was still on the ground, but they were slowly getting towards a sitting position.
Chichiri pulled on one of the little rings on his staff, and some music came out of nowhere. Then he began to jump up and down a little, and his friends softly clapped their hands to the beat.
"Hana no saku sekai ni inochi miru you ni Tori ga tobu shunkan jiyuu o kanjiru Kaze ni mimi o sumaseba toki ga arawarete Tsuki o miru kokoro ni seijaku ga oriru."
Once he finished singing, he said, "How do you like me now?"
His fellow seishi clapped and complimented him. Then they left.
"That didn't answer our question!" Chiriko whined. "I want to know what kind of monk he is! What religion??!"
"Aww, go read a book!" Tasuki retorted.
Finally Chichiri was left to his peace. He picked up his fishing rod and got comfortable against the tree. Again, everything was perfect.
Well, that was. interesting. I tried to make that one somewhat normal. Soooo, what'd you guys think? Reviews please! ^_^ Oh yea! That song that he's singing is 'Kachou Fuugetsu,' (well, part of it) and I got the lyrics from Sharla-chan's web page. BTW, does anyone know what kind of monk Chichiri really is?
