Lucy had her thoughts on Natsu. He was gone and never really had an exact date of when he promised to be back. It was going to be lonely without him
I brush the desk...
Lucy's eyes landed on her desk, seeing the note that he left her the day he left.
As the shadows drop...
It was saddening to think of the possibilities that made Natsu want to go off and train by himself.
I'm alone again today...
With a sigh, Lucy thought of what she should do that day as there was no more guild and many of her friends went off to train.
Looking up at the sky...
She looked out the window and smiled, remembering that he was somewhere out there, probably making himself stronger to protect the guild.
I pray...
Lucy hoped he returned safely back to Magnolia some day.
Knowing you're under the same sky...
The sky reminded her of the dragons and somewhere out there, beneath the same sky, was the one friend she didn't want to leave in the first place.
At times when you're shaking with tears...
The thoughts of Natsu probably crying over the death of her future self and then crying when Igneel died came to Lucy as a frown came on to her face, reminding her that it was probably two reasons why he wanted to get much stronger.
And times when you seem to be engulfed by darkness...
Natsu had promised her future self as well as Igneel that he'd protect the future and would defeat Acnologia. It made him seem dark when he makes such promises, Lucy would think.
Don't forget...
Though, Lucy knew that he'd come back to the light...
You always have...
Because there are memories of being happy and having fun...
You always have a place to return to...
With the guild he promised to protect...
And people that are waiting for you
As well as his friends who he wishes to protect even more than he once wanted.
