Ienzo did not agree with the experiments at all. The needless sacrifice of human hearts made his own burn with guilt.
However….
It was in the name of science. So that made it right, didn't it?
His mentor, Even, thought so.
Dilan had said it was okay.
Braig had said it was okay.
Xehanort had said it was perfectly fine to do such things.
But…
Aeleus had said the opposite.
Whom should he believe?
His best friend, or the rest of his colleagues?
Was it his duty to carry on such terrible experiments, as his position as the final (living) apprentice of King Ansem?
These dark thoughts clouded young Ienzo's mind as he checked the Heartless they had entrapped.
He suddenly paused in front of a cell that had strange looking heartless.
They were varying colors from red to yellow. Each had a book that matched the colors of their bodies.
"Fascinating…I wonder what they do?" he mused aloud.
A red one looked up from its large book.
It murmured something, and a ball of fire struck Ienzo in the chest.
He flew backwards into a wall, and struck it with his head.
The keys had slipped out of his lab coat, and fallen into the cell.
A blue heartless picked up the keys, and unlocked their cell.
They filed out and surrounded the unconscious boy.
They all murmured strange words.
Lightning, Ice, and water based attacks rained down upon the sleeping male.
T-thump…
Th-thump…
Thump…
Thum…
….
Life ended for Ienzo that night.
However, non existence had just begun for another named…
