Slowly but surely, I am carrying out my plot for domination of the Penguin Brothers section. And I really will write stories for couples other than Koshiba x Hina, I just have to re-read the manga to brush up on some of the details, and I haven't had time to do that yet. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy it. I do not own Penguin Brothers.

Hina stared at the computer screen. Currently, she was seated at her desk in her room in France. Kyou-chan had finally decided on a city for the two of them to settle down in for however long his wander lust allowed him to stay in one spot, and she'd just finished all of her unpacking. So right now, she had just begun her first webcam chat with one of her friends back in Japan, Koshiba.

Which was probably enough in itself to explain the complete befuddlement written all over her face.

"Hi, Piyoko!" He greeted her cheerfully. He sounded the same as ever, bright and peppy. If 'peppy' could really be used to describe a boy. But yes, his voice and manner were the same. It was his appearance that had changed.

"What did you do to your hair?" She blurted, unable to tear her eyes away from what had formerly been yellow and shoulder-length.

"Oh, do you like it?" He replied with the same measure of cheerfulness, completely unaffected by her outburst. The image of him in the computerized window reached up and twirled a lock of hair around his finger.

"Sure." She said, still stunned. "It's, er, very… green." She fumbled, for lack of a better thing to say.

"Yeah, isn't it great?" Was the response he chirped back to her.

Hina couldn't do much more than nod dumbly. Clearing her throat and trying to compose herself, she asked "What was the occasion?"

The last time Koshiba had dyed his hair, he'd changed it from purple to yellow to celebrate making a new friend, namely her.

Koshiba gasped theatrically and pressed his hands to his cheeks in shocked disbelief, an expression she'd gotten very used to during the course of time that she'd known him. Her eyes narrowed in displeasure at the reaction. "Don't tell me you forgot!" Koshiba said in mock distress.

"Forgot what?" She asked, now irritated and trying to remember if she'd forgotten somebody's birthday, or something.

"Today's our anniversary!" He exclaimed.

"Huh?" She was back to staring at him dumbly.

Noticing her confusion, he elaborated. "It was one year ago today that you and I first became friends!"

Startled, she glanced up at the calendar she'd hung on the wall by her desk. It turned out that he was right.

"Oh, well happy anniversary." She said, giving him a warm smile.

Koshiba grinned back, leaning his chin on his hands. "You too. Hopefully we'll actually get to be in he same country on our next one." He joked.

Hina laughed. "Yeah, that would be nice." She agreed.

Hopefully, they'd have a lot of 'anniversaries' to spend together in the future.
