Just a poem I wrote late one night after reading Goblet of Fire for about the ten-thousandth time. Please read and review!
Reminiscence
Remember Cedric Diggory?
How could I ever forget you?
You were everything to me.
You stole my heart, and I yours.
But it wasn't meant to be.
When we were together, nothing else mattered.
Only you and me, us, our love…
But on that fateful day, we shared one last kiss.
When I opened my eyes, you were gone,
And I would never see you again.
You were given a choice:
The right path, or the easy one.
You chose what was right, and it cost you your life.
You raced into the maze
And never came back out.
I saw the choice you had.
And, given the same, I'd choose the easy way.
Why? Because I remember Cedric Diggory.
And I shall never forget.
Never.
