Hi there, this idea came to me after reading a few fanfictions about how Suzaku was suffering as Zero. Thanks to all you people who inspired me to write this.

A Life of it's Own
Lelouch vi Britannia, Suzaku Kururugi, Tenzin Weinberg, Alistair Cross and Alexander Chevalier. They all have one thing in common, shouldering the burden of the mask of Zero. These are the people, men and women, who bear the burden of justice for all. They have no allegiance to anyone, only to one thing do they serve and that is justice. Wherever there is oppression in the world, they are there to represent the downtrodden and the weak. They are the court of justice; their qualifications are the sacrifices they make to ensure that there is peace in the world.
Starting from Lelouch, the tradition of passing on the mantle of Zero goes on, making him an immortal symbol of justice. He passed the mantle of justice on to Suzaku before he died. So Suzaku too chose a successor when he saw that peace would not be fully achieved before he died. So he chose, out of many candidates Tenzin Weinberg, youngest son of Kallen and Gino, and so the cycle goes on. Each one is drilled in the principles of the original Zero, Lelouch vi Britannia. Every one of them had a strong feeling of justice; they all had something that made them appropriate to be the new Zero. Each has felt the soul sucking effects of the mask. The way it slowly, oh so very slowly drains all the emotion and life from their very being. To be sure, the mask of Zero is a heavy burden to shoulder.
Till peace is achieved by the world, Zero shall not die, his mantle worn by those chosen by the mask of Zero. Where there is injustice that is where he can be found. Those who need his help shall get it without any prejudice and those who go against him shall feel his wrath. Those who aid injustice fear his reproach; he is judge, jury, prosecutor and defence. Those with power shall fear him and those without it rally behind him. He is fair to all, he is Zero.
