A/N: A short one short taking place in Grimmauld Place during Order of the Phoenix. Nothing too serious, just a bit of fun.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the order in which the words are in.

Hermione was thoroughly enjoying the feeling of being snuggled up so close to her boyfriend. Her boyfriend. It would take quite a while to get used to calling him that. Just thinking about the word made her want to giggle girlishly. Thankfully she was able to hold it in and preserve her dignity. She looked up at his handsome face and sighed in a 'things couldn't get any better' sort of way. He'd heard it and peered down at her with a smirk on his face. Hermione blushed profoundly at the fact that she was acting so silly. She'd had boyfriends before, they'd just had never had this effect on her. Whatever this new feeling was Hermione loved it and wanted to keep hold of it for the rest of her life.

All too soon the two lovers heard someone's hand turn the very doorknob they had hoped no one would touch for a long time. Hermione jumped away to the other side of the sofa as though an electrical surge passed between them.

"Has either of you two seen Tonks?" asked a rather flushed Remus. His eyes darted quickly around the room before landing on the other occupants. He noted the pink tinge on Hermione's cheeks as she fiddled with her hands and tried to act as though she was peering interestedly out the window. This coupled with his friend's incessant grinning led him to believe that something was up.

"Sirius, what did you do?" Remus said flatly.

"Me? Why are you always suspicious, Moony? You're always jumping to conclusions that I've done something when in fact I'm completely and totally innocent!" Sirius replied with eyes that practically screamed 'guilty'.

Hermione snorted. Innocent? Innocent and Sirius Black never went in the same sentence together. Both men turned in the young woman's direction.

"Sorry," she said as she twisted back round to meet their gaze and explained, "but Sirius being innocent is just laughable." Sirius pretended to sulk like a small child and stuck out his tongue at Hermione.

Not deterred by the interaction between the two suspects, Remus continued, "I don't know what it is you two are planning or doing or...something, but whatever it is I'll find out and chances are that I won't approve so I'm warning you both now."

Sirius gave his friend a mock salute and said, "Consider us warned, Moony old chap."

Remus rolled his eyes and left the room muttering something to himself. The two relaxed back into the sofa and let out sighs of relief.

"Well, that was close," he beamed. The danger of being caught always gave him a certain thrill and now was no different.

Hermione couldn't help but smile back. She couldn't deny that she had got a bit of a rush when they were almost found out. Perhaps keeping their relationship a secret would be more fun than she first thought.
