Hi! This is my first time writing a one-shot like this for Twilight, I hope I get it right. Anyway, this idea comes from the fact that Alice didn't see Bella leaving the bathroom, or why she didn't tell anyone. This is in Alice's Point of view and set while Bella was in the hospital, or wherever you think it fits best. Enjoy!
I sat staring at the wall, thinking. My thoughts were blocked from Edward. He didn't need to know this, and also I would fear for my life if he ever found out. If there is one thing I learned from this event, it is: never get in between mates, ever.
I had seen Bella leave through the other bathroom door, before she actually did it. I had seen it the second she decided to leave. I saw her back at the ballet studio, where she wasn't before, after Edward decided to come down here to Phoenix. James was there at the ballet studio, and I saw him bite her.
So when she asked Jasper to take her to get breakfast, I just mirrored his confusion. I knew why she was doing this, and I knew why I wasn't telling anyone.
I sighed as I looked at Bella's room. I owe her a lot. She gave me friendship, and another family member. I saw my favorite family member, beside Jasper, happy and in love. I wouldn't let Bella get hurt, unless there was a good reason. And I had several.
The first was to show Edward just how strong he is against her blood. After all this time he still doesn't think he is strong enough to resist her blood. He doesn't now, even after he drank her, and didn't kill her! I only hope that he does realize how strong he is, for both him and Bella.
The darker reason was for Bella to become one of us. A vampire. Edward would never do that, nor would he let any of us do it either. This was her shot to becoming one of us, like I know she wishes.
And the last and most important reason was simple. To show just how much they love each other. You wouldn't do what they did for just anyone.
I believe that the last reason got through to them. And I had to smile because of it.
