"no get away" I screamed
as a walker limped toward my now undoubtedly sprained ankle. it had been a year since I had last been in a group and at least 5 years since I cared to be with other people. I was still trying to crawl away as I thought this and that if only I was in a group I wouldn't have this problem.
Just as I think it is all going to end I hear a gun shot and the zombies brain explodes all over my chest and legs. "hey tom check if he's alright." I hear a woman's voice call out just as I'm passing out I hear "I can't tell if he's bit."
I wake up in the back of an ambulance and I can't tell if its moving or not do to the dizziness I am feeling I try to sit up but my neck and limbs are restrained.
"hello." I call out with out a response a person in a mask leans over and shines a light in my eyes "god I scream in anger as my eyes start to tear up do to the intense light shining in my eyes I hear the same voice call out "tom will you stop harassing the dam kid he's unconscious." "no yells tom he's awake can't you hear him." I can only guess its tom who replied as I cant see anything any more
I hear the clanking of mettle like a old door is being opened "are you serious." a girl sounding no older than me says "its been so long since I saw a LIVING kid my age." I can almost feel her excitement
