I hissed at the hand that was coming towards me slowly. The hand attach to a very ugly looking man in a blue jumpsuit with an Animal Control patch on it. I personally am not one to hate someone but, damn, do I hate these people. For the whole 20 years of this life the Animal Control has been after my beautiful fur and its getting annoying. Oh and in this mini-true form I'm also wanted by the Queen herself so my life isn't the greatest at the moment. Oh I almost forgot to mention I'm in neko or a feline demon if you name I decided to give myself in this life is Mella because in the human language of Latin it translates to fire and I always did love metaphorically playing with fire. Anyway, back to the situation at hand. The thing with moving closer not wanting to scare me off but seriously seeing someone is ugly as this man bending at the waist to try and pick you up is frightening enough that a troll would run I waited completely still well hissing until his hand was 2 inches from my face.
*chomp*
The man quickly pulled his hand back with a cry of agony and a few curses as his whole body fell backwards with the momentum of his surprise. Well I wouldn't say his whole body because he was now missing his index finger on the left hand that he was cradling to chest. Taking opportunity of his surprise I ran at him, leapt on his head, successfully knocking him on his back so he couldn't see me when I rounded the corner. I swiftly changed into my human form once I reached a familiar alley, I quickly uncovered some clothes I had hid under a crate. I pulled on a tan pair of worn trousers and slipped on an equally worn, but black, sleeveless shirt. I also secured a tan cap on my bobbed, dark, auburn hair also covering my almost non-existent auburn feline ears. I picked up my eye patch made of string and a bandage and placed over my liquid amber colored eye which left my piercing emerald eyes for all to see. Barefoot, I strolled down the streets I grew up in until I reached the docks. I smiled. There are only a few nekos that tolerate water but I am the only one who loves it! Soon I'm running to join some children who are playing under one of the piers.
*2 hours later*
I was happily walking down the street soaked to the bone when going to see Undertaker sounds like a good idea. Walking until the end of the street I finally spotted a two story building that looked quite faded with an equally faded sign that read . I headed towards the front door only to spot a black carriage sitting in the street in front of the shop. My curiosity got the better of me so I snuck to the back door, but as I approached I hear a roaring laughter that shook the ground I stood on. Eventually, the laughter subsided into the occasional giggle and the only man I know that giggles at all is the infamously creepy Undertaker. My curiosity was still there though, if not peaked. I continued slowly moving towards the door as I glanced inside I caught sight of an interesting scene. First, there was the man in the butler suit that reeked of in human power that matched his red eyes. Then there was the child clad in blue with a top hat and cane to match. The child look like he was ready to throttle Undertaker but the butler just look bored. So I snuck up to sit behind the coffin Undertaker was perched on to it out to customers. I caught the rest of the conversation and it was only a little bit but I caught enough to know that they were talking about the cases.
