Max waited at the edge of the cliff, Fang and Nudge had gone off to get food, not that it was easy to lug over ten pounds of food anywhere, but she had expected them back sooner than this. As she watched, she saw two familiar shapes in the distance, smiling she took off and flew up to them, "Need a hand?"
"Sure!" Nudge handed her one of the bags, "be my guest."
Fang glared at Max.
"What? I was just being helpful."
"Next time you get to go into town with her."
"What's up with him?"
"Well, I heard this really cool song in town while we were getting food, in fact, it reminded me of you!"
"Really?"
"Ya! I'll tell you more about it after we get ride of the food, but it was kind-of freaky how much it reminded me of you."
"Okay then." The two girls landed on the ground and took the bags into the cave, the six of them had been staying here for the past three days, but they would be moving out tonight. "So what is this about a song that describes me perfectly?"
Before Nudge could say a word Fang jumped in, "No."
"Why not Fang?"
"I am sick of it."
"Then go outside! I just wanted to tell Max about her theme song!"
"My theme song?"
"That's what it should be called!"
Fang let out a low grow, then he stalked out of the cave and took off into the sky.
"Nudge?"
"Ya."
"Why does Fang hate this song?"
"I don't know, I only sang it about a hundred times on the way back."
Max sighed, no wonder Fang hated it. "Well, let's get it out of your system, sing away."
"Okay, I'll explain as I go. The first line is, I got a little hunch that something's going on. You're always the one who realizes when we're in danger. Then it goes, the cloths I bought, the friends I got, my teacher had a meltdown. All our clothes have to have wing holes cut in them, all your friends have wings, and back at that school we went to the principle tried to attack you, and he's a teacher, right? Then I look at me and I start to see, and a voice inside tells me what I must do. No explanation needed. Get a clue, it's there inside of you, get a clue there's nothing you can't do and nothing's ever quite what it seems just look a little closer at me. Now don't get mad Max, but this part represents Ari. I mean come on, talk about nothing's ever quite what it seems!"
"Nudge."
"Ya?"
"You need a new hobby?"
"Oh come on! Let me finish the song!"
Fang reentered the cave, seeing the look an Max's face he sighed, "Nudge, can't you get a clue?"

Weird, I know. It just sort of came to me. No real point to this story at all.
