Hermes and Hades

My first drabble. This does not really have much to do with 3snakes and a lion, just something short I came up with. This is my view of this character. Enjoy! Ignore the word counter. I counted, there are 100 words.

Hermes and Hades

They knew him as Hermes, but he was remembered as Hades.

They knew him as Hermes.

Laughing, mischievous, sneaky, funny,

always with a prank up his sleeve, could talk you into anything, and had an affinity for snakes.

But he was remembered as Hades.

Dark, deadly, cruel, harsh, unkind,proud,

too powerful for his own good, exiled for the good of the rest, and forever standing alone.

Once he was Salazar Serpent-Tongue, the Laughing Thief.

Now he was Lord Slytherin, Ruler of the Dead.

Alas, he is remembered as Hades,

For once they knew him as Hermes.
