"Why is this always happening to me?"
Freya stared at the mirror for a long time. The tears were drying up now, but new ones were starting to emerge.
She doesn't know what to do anymore.
Tomorrow is the day.
The day that Ivan is going to marry, Anita.
Anita, everybody loved her.
Why her? And not me?
Doesn't faith want me to have a happy relationship?
I guess this is what I get for letting my heart win.
I will never find true love.
For what I am, I'm just a stranger.
A nobody.
No matter how pretty I look, nobody will still love me.
Unlike that Anita.
She has been loved by everyone ever since she came here.
How does she do it..?
"Um..hello?" a stranger called. I turned around hastily wiping my tears. Oliver stood in front of my door, he looked concerned.
"F-Freya..are you okay?" he asked. I smiled and nodded.
"Yes. Thank you for your concern, Oliver. What is it that you want?"
"Oh um, well nothing it's just that Anita told me to give you this invitation to her wedding.." he mumbled handing me an elegantly decorated envelope.
"T-thanks..but I already knew..Dirk told me earlier..." I muttered.
"Oh really? Well...I do hope you'll be okay..." he said taking back the letter.
"Okay. Goodbye." I said attempting to close the door. But he placed his foot on the doorway so it kept open. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"F-Freya...I just wanna say that..don't feel so sad about them marrying..there's still other guys out there.." he said, his cheeks reddening. My brows scrunched, I seem to understand what he's talking about.
"Oliver. Thank you so much for your concern. But my heart needs a rest for now, though, I am so glad that you are concerned of me. Thank you once again." I thanked him sincerely. Oliver nodded glumly. I smiled and kissed his cheek. He smiled a bit then.
"See you in the wedding, Freya. I hope your heart gets better soon. Maybe someday, somebody will try and help you out,...in mending it." he said with a wide smile and left with a wave.
I smiled as I waved. Maybe..somebody will..someday.

PS.
What's the official name for the main heroines? Many say it's Hansel and Gretel or Anita and Oliver. For now I'm using Anita and Oliver. I like it better. Hansel and Gretel is just weird, but I'm not saying it's bad. X)
