Paw by paw walked up the stars as Bluestar went up to Starclan, her fur felt no longer damp, but warm as she couldn't wait to meet her friends and family again.
She was almost there.
Fireheart will lead the clan, you don't need to worry anymore. You'll see Moonflower, Snowfur, Oakheart, Sweetpaw. Bluestar felt that her heart was going to burst with joy as she walked through the clouds and saw Moonflower.
"Moonflower!" Bluestar breathed. "My daughter!" Moonflower purred as she licked Bluestar's shoulder. Then Snowfur came with Mosskit. My kit! Mosskit! By Snowfur and Mosskit was Oakheart, Crookedstar, Willowbreeze, Silverstream, and Willowkit and Minnowkit. Then a tortoiseshell came.
"Spottedleaf! And Yellowfang!"
But that wasn't it. Thrushpelt, Rosetail, Redtail, Lionheart, Sweetpaw, Sunstar, and Pinestar came, all licking her fur in welcome. Bluestar couldn't help but give a loud purr. Then she saw a huge orange tom. "I am Thunder" the cat said boldly, "Welcome to Starclan".
Bluestar bowed her head and saw Leopardfoot and her she-kits. "You were a great leader" Leopardfoot purred, "I am truly sorry about my son" Her fur shook, "I didn't know that he would-" "Hush" Bluestar whispered, putting her tail over Leopardfoot's mouth, "It's okay". Pinestar brushed against Leopardfoot and they left.
"You can see all the cats from down here" Lionheart pointed out. Bluestar looked over the clouds and saw a vision of Fireheart leaving with Graystripe, both appeared full of grief. By Bluestar's side was Fuzzypelt. "It isn't over" Fuzzypelt whispered, "He'll have a lot ahead".
"I know" Bluestar sighed.
She then searched for Oakheart. She approached Mumblefoot and Windflight sharing tongues. "Um, where's Oakheart?" she asked. "Over there" Mumblefoot grunted as he flicked his tail to Oakheart, he was playing with their daughter, holding his tail up high so Mosskit could catch it.
Bluestar purred with amusement and came up to him. "Fish-face" Bluestar purred. Oakheart turned around. "What did you just call me?" he responded teasingly. "Fish-face!" Bluestar meowed. "I'll get you!" Oakheart purred as he jumped. Bluestar dodged and gave his cheek a quick lick as they continued chasing.
Soon, they stopped. "I missed you" Bluestar said. "Me too, I love you" Oakheart said as Bluestar leaned against his shoulder. "I love you too" Bluestar replied softly. Moonflower, Snowfur, and Mosskit appeared behind them. The sky was a dark blue.
And Bluestar liked it that way
