"Sakuma-saaaaaaaaan!!!!!" Shuichi ran towards him. Ryuuichi braced himself for the impact but the pink haired boy stopped several inches before him, bowing slightly and grinning at him widely.
"Shuichi-kun. How are you doing?"
"Great! I. I am so happy. Bad Luck. the new album is ready. I." Ryuuichi saw those eyes flicker, a sadness washing over him for only a second before the mask was back in place, hiding his feelings.
"I gotta go!" he shouted happily.
Ryuuichi saw through that act as he ran off.
Shuichi was not happy.
The lead singer of Nittle Grasper pulled Komaguro out of his pocket and looked him in the black eyes: "He is not happy, ne?"
Komaguro mutely stared back at him.
Ryuuichi sighed, pressing the pink bunny against his chest. "I wish you could answer me sometimes. Poor Shuichi."
He left for the concert hall.
Noriko sat in a room in the backstage area, head hanging sadly.
"Noriko-sama?"
She looked up and her face lit up, excitement written on it.
"Ryuu-chan." Her voice was flat, monotone. She wore a mask. She was tired.
"Cheer up, Noriko! What happened?"
"Nothing." Ryuuichi didn't believe her. He let it slip.
"Excited about the concert?" her face relaxed visibly, glad that Ryuuichi had dropped the subject. "Yes, as always." She grinned.
He grinned back at her.
He left the room.
Down the hall he saw Tohma.
He ran towards the blond man, falling around his neck, holding on tight. "Tohma-san! I missed you! I missed you, I missedyou, Imissedyou ImissedyouImissedyoumissedyoumissedyouuuuuuuuuuu!!!"
Tohma let Ryuuichi hug him, not trying to pry him off.
"Sakuma-san." He said in his warm, gently tone.
He was as calm as ever but Ryuuichi could see as well a laughing as a crying eye behind that mask.
It seemed everybody wore masks those days.
