Ok, for the record, I already had this written down, but sadly was lazy and forgetful to post it here. Hehe, sorry about that. Hope you all enjoy it. Got bored in class and started writing this when flashbacks of all the fanfic stories I read as well as the episodes. Hints of Alexis x Starscream. I don't own anything other than the poem itself. Inspiration
Writing is essential in life
Math as well
Many things can inspire us to do different things
Kids are inspired to be like doctors, policemen, or firefighters
911 inspired people to be aware what's around them
Instruments inspiring people to be musicians
One gesture may inspire others to do the same
Characters in movies, TV shows, and stories inspired this one to grow up and continue living
A character in a story inspiring her to never give up, even if it seemed there was no other way
Reading about a character's life that is similar to her own, inspired her to believe there still hope left inside
"Stop thinking about, the easy way out. There's no need to go and blow the candle out because you're not done, you're far too young and the best is yet to come."
Neglect and abuse can change a person
For the good or the bad
It seemed it only made the character stronger
Knowing that she survived through the whole ordeal
Making her think that if she survived, so can she
Change is time
It can happen in an instant
Can happen over time
But what is for sure
Change can happen to anyone
For the better
Or for the worst
Living in the pits
Having no choice in life
Only fulfilling his needs
Never was it easy for him to do
For there was always something in his way
The same it went for her
Only wanting to fulfill her goals
But, she too had obstacles thrown in her way
The friend and the foe
That's what they know
Friends that are worthy of being called friends
Never knowing they'll inflict harm upon you
Forcing them to become distant and cold
Always there was a mask to cover their pain
Always saying, "I'll kill you!"
Never meaning it
Unless someone provokes them in doing so
Savage beasts they were called
Not knowing it's just a mask
A mask to hide their emotions
A mask to hide themselves behind with
Both fighting behind the mask
Never wanting anyone to make it crack
It won't be long before beauty shines light upon someone
Transforming the beasts to something they never believed they'll become
For him, it came in the shape of a beautiful girl
For her, it came in the form of a magnificent metallic giant
Time can't heal all wounds
Only leaves fragments of them behind to remember
For every person he killed,
It'll be stored in the back of his head
For every person she harmed,
It'll always be remembered in her head
Him having the scars to prove it
Her having the voice to prove it
Nothing can change what they did
Only can they try and make up for their mistakes
Never will it be easy for her to open up again
Witnessing what people can do
Only to have it done to her
Just like she read it
Just like she saw it
It took a single person to guide him
A simple affection to open her eyes
That everything is not just black and white
There's always an in-between
Teaching her that not everything is what it seems
People learn from their mistakes
They learn from other people's mistakes as well
Everyone can learn mistakes
It's just optional if you want to prevent it from happening again
Optional if you don't
It'll just inspire her to do one or the other
Inspiration comes in many forms
From words to writing
Action to art
Many more can do as well
A death from her favorite character
Inspired her to do the same
Believe what you believe in
Fight to the very end
Even if it costs your own life
For as the saying goes,
"You fight to the very end"
