As Bella got into the car Edward had put her suitcase in the trunk of the Ashton Martin and grabbed her jacket and held it out to Rosalie.
"Can you put this on to throw James off?" Bella heard Edward ask. Bella looked out the open window in time to see Rosalie give Edward a disgusted look.
"Why?" She asked distateful venom running through every word.
"What is she to me?" Rosalie asked her voice escallating from distaste to anger.
Bella thought about her words for a quick second 'why should anyone have to risk their lives for me'. Bella could see Carlisle was about to retort to Rosalies questioning words but she said something first.
"She's right" Bella said solomnly as she stepped out of the car. The door shut with an odd clang in the defining silence. Everyone looked at her shocked that she had said something against being protected.
"I mean why should you risk yourselves for me? I am nothing to you." Bella said with a shaking voice but it wasn't just her voice that was shaking, she was aswell. Edward threw Rosalie a fierce look of anger and rage. He than turned to Bella, his face softening.
"Bella" he started, "you'r everything to me and everyone here knows that, some" he turned to give a withering glance at his sister "may not get it but you are everything to me and I'm going to do everything I can to protect you." Edward rose a hand to stroke her cheek but she turned her head. Edward looked at her worried.
"Bella he started.
"No, Edward" she said her voice slightly shaking now.
"I don't want you to go through so much hardship because of me. I'm not even close to being worth it!" Bella's voice was rising steadily. Aice now looked like she was going to say something but Emmett beat her to it.
"Bella, we haven't seen Edward this happy in a long time, if ever, if this is going to keep you alive and Eddie boy happy we'll do it." He said firmly than in a much softer voice, "plus your like family now."
Everyone shook their head in agreement, even Rosalie, even though it was reluctant. Edward now took both of Bella's hands in his.
"You see Bella you are worth it like I said you are my world, amything to keep you safe I will do it" Edward finished smiing slightly. Bea hung her head still thinking she wasn't worth it.
"Bella" said a calm voice breaking her thoughts, she looked up from the ground to seek Carlisle looking at her with a fatherly look in his eyes. "You are now part of this family" he said than added with a slight smile "whether you like it or not." Bella smiled slightly but quickly frowned.
"I still don't want you guys to do this" she said sady.
"Bella, it may seem like a while for both of us while we are apart but we wi be together and you will be safe" Edward said looking at her with love in his eyes.
"Ok" she said in a small voice, everyone gave a sigh of relief.
"But I don't want Rosalie or anyone to have to do something they don't want to do for me just because Edward says so" everyone chuckled at this. Than everyone got very serious. Edward guided Bella ack to the car as Alice and Jasper got into the front seats. She buckled her self in and turned to the window where Edward was.
"Be careful okay" said Edward.
"Only if you are" she said smilling slightly.
"Hey" said Edward, "don't be sad, we'll see eachother soon" he said.
"I know, I love you" she said.
"Love you too" he kissed her softly and quickly but the kiss was full of passion. He ran after everyone else as they backed out of the garage and sped down the highway.
