"Remember how Xander and Dawn used to goof around? But then stopped after you fought Dracula? There was Xander's 'Butt-Monkey' speech and suddenly he's Mr. Good Job? Has Dawn seemed less, juvenile, since then?"
"You think that Dawn was created then? And Xander was re-written? Like a bad book report?"
"Yeah, that way the monks wouldn't have to change as many memories."
