Okay
Cisco thought to himself
This has gotta work I just need to test it-
His arm brushed the container, knocking it over.
A transparent liquid spread across the desk barely visible.
"Well… Fuck."
He set his hand on a seemingly safe portion of the desk for a second as he stood up, looking for what he would need to clean up the spill.
He couldn't pull his hand off of the desk
"What?" in a moment of panic, he blindly set his other hand on the desk in his attempt to pull away.
He froze in horror, great, now both hands were stuck.
"Great. Perfect. At least it works."
He pulled his chair over with his foot and sat down.
He had been formulating a super-super glue, it wouldn't activate and harden until in contact with two surfaces on both sides. Transparent and invisible it could fix almost anything and glue evil metas to the ground.
Well, it would have if he hadn't managed to glue himself to the motherfucking desk.
With a sigh, Cisco leaned back in his chair. It was going to be a very long night.
Wham
It's difficult trying to sleep in a chair with both hands fixed in front of you. The key in this situation was to just keep your head off the table no matter what.
Well, that was… Well, that was just punted out of the window.
As Cisco dozed off, he leaned forward just enough to slam his head into the desk. It was an accident but still, it hurt, he couldn't even rub his forehead. Also, his hair was probably glued to the desk as well. Maybe working late on this was a bad idea. A really, really, bad idea.
Oh god, please let it be Caitlin or Barry who showed up first.
Caitlin walked into the lab and scowled at Cisco.
"Cisco?" Stay late and work on a project was supposed to mean go home before midnight. She was patient though, it wasn't the first time this had happened.
"Hm?" He either just woke up, or he didn't sleep. He wasn't moving.
"Cisco did you spend the night here? Are you ok?" Caitlin sounded concerned, she knew he was working on some project but she didn't know what.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Can you just get Barry please?" Cisco's voice was muffled and a bit sleepy sounding.
"Why aren't you moving? Cisco what have you done?" Caitlin accused as she came up to Cisco and grabbed his shoulders to try and ease him into a sitting position. He couldn't be too badly hurt. If anything there was an explosion and he dyed his face green (again).
"Waitwaitwaitwai- OW" His head and hands didn't budge.
Cait released his shoulders as Cisco began to explain.
"You know that glue I was working on? Well... I spilled it-"
"And rubbed your face in it?!" She cut him off with an accusatory tone.
"No-I… I got my hands stuck. No problem, you know. Well, then I fell asleep. My head hit the desk, it hurt, now can you just go call Barry or something?"
"What about Harry-"
"No, hell no. He hasn't been in here yet. Just call Barry and explain before Harry wakes up."
Caitlin stepped back and made the call.
"Barry, hey, sorry if I interrupted something?"
"It's Cisco, he glued his face to a desk…" Cait trailed off
"Yeah, again. Can you, erm, hurry? I think he's been here all night."
"Thanks Barry, see you soon."
