Thor was going down to Midgard to see Jane, at long last he shall now take her as his wife. There hasn't been a day gone by when he hadn't thought of her, He knew he had his duties in Asgard but he has waited long enough.
He walked right into her house, and sees an older woman in a rocking chair
''Thor?'' She says as her eyes widen
''Uh, yes, do you know where Jane Foster is?'' He asks
''Is that really you?'' She says in disbelief
''Yes, we are you?'' He asks while he furrowed eyebrows
''It's me, Thor'' he gives her a confused look
''It's me Jane'' She tells him in a soft whisper.
''Jane?'' He says in shock and she nods as her eyes tear up. How many seasons had passedt? He wondered
''Yes, Thor it's me, now what in gods name are you doing here?''
''Wait, what'' Is all he is able to say
''It's me, Jane Foster. The women you met on Midgard 40 years ago'' He takes a step back, he looked into her eyes, and he saw the mortal he fell in love with. Who he will always love
''What are you doing here, Thor?'' She asks, and he looks up at her
''I'm here for you, I'm a man of my word. I promised you I would return'' He says, and she chuckles softly
''I am so sorry Thor, but as you can see it's far too late for that'' Thor shakes his head fiercely at that
''No, no! Jane, you need to listen to me! It's never too late, fate had brought us together'' Thor refused to believe that there was no chance of him and Jane, he wasn't ready to let go
''Oh Thor, I love you I probably always will'' She tells him, and he smiles softly
''But I'm married, I have two wonderful grandchildren.I'm happy Thor, and you should be to'' She says while softly, placing one of her hands on his cheek, he grabs her hand and breathes in
''You're married?'' he whispers, ever so slightly
''Yes, to a man named Richard. You're were gone for so long, I couldn't wait i'm sorry'' Thor looked away not wanting her to see the tears in his eyes
''Are you happy?'' He asks, ignoring the aching feeling in his chest
''Yes, very much'' She smiles
''Then that's all matters'' He forces a smile
''And I know you will be happy to, Thor'' She whispers, He wants to believe her, but he knows far too well that he will never feel complete unless she was with him.
''So then, so is goodbye?'' He says getting close to tears, and she nods
He grabs her hand, and kisses it gently ''Jane Foster'' he says, softly
''Goodbye Thor''
He walks out, but before he goes to Asgard, he turns around to get one last look. Instead of seeing an Old woman with her grandchildren and husband, he saw the young women he met on Midgard all those years ago, and himself beside her with their children. What meant of been
Soon the vision faded, and reality came back. He wips goes back to Asgard
Years later, Thor married Sif. He loved Sif, he would do anything for her. Though, every now and then he would look up at the stars and remember Jane. No matter how much he loved Sif, and how much of loving, wonderful wife she was. His heart will always belong to Jane. The woman who changed him, made him into a better man. The strongest, smartest, kind hearted woman he has ever met. He may of let her go, but that doesn't mean he wanted to
He looked up at the stars once more
''I love you Jane Foster, forever and always'' He whispers
