Summary: No matter what's going on, the brothers just can't seem to get away from the worry for each other.

The echo of the gunshot slowly fell away. Still standing with his gun extended, Sam Winchester breathed heavily and fought to keep his body steady. Tremors from mild injuries nearly caused him to collapse but he fought to keep himself together.
Remembering why he had shot the creature, he quickly dropped his arm and staggered over to the motionless form of his big brother. "Dean!" unceremoniously falling to his knees, he put his hands to Dean's chest, anxiously checking for injuries.
A groan sounded. Dean's hand twitched to his own chest.
Falling back, all Sam could say was, "Thank God."
