Kristin was having another miserable day. Bullies were teasing her and she was getting sick and tired of it. She just wanted to be alone.

Finally, after a long, agonizing walk, Kristin made it to the Grant Mansion. She unlocked the door and kicked off her shoes. Seeing that there were no aliens in sight, Kristin assumed that she was all alone, which was good news for her.

Little did she know that she was being watched.

Kristin sat down in the living room and decided to just lay down. She was still sad from today. The last thing she wanted to see was another musclebound goon wanting to hurt her.

"YOU THERE!"

Kristin fell out of her seat and tumbled to the floor. She looked up and saw a broad and huge framed figure in dark body armor.

"What are you doing here?" the stranger demanded.

Kristin didn't want anything to do with this frightful person. So she got up and tried to run away, but the figure grabbed her by the shirt collar and dragged her into another room. He tossed her hard against a room corner and started demanding answers.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

Kristin just curled up and started whimpering, her body shaking like a leaf.

Taken back a bit, the stranger pulled down his face plate, revealing that it was Tetrax Shard underneath.

Tetrax saw how shook up this girl was and felt really bad. He knelt down to comfort her. "Hey, don't be scared." he said softly. "I thought you were an intruder."

But that didn't make Kristin feel any better. She just stayed curled up. "J-J-Just go away." she said through her quivering mouth.

The alien started stroking her back. "But I don't want to go away. I want to cheer you up."

He felt Kristin's shivering stop. She peeked up and when she saw that he was a dead ringer to Diamondhead, she gasped and hid her face in her arms again.

Sighing, Tettrax had to find a way to show this girl he means no harm.

Then, it dawned on him so easily. He reached down and started tickling Kristin's sides.

Immediately, Kristin unfurled her self and started laughing. "Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Stop that!"

"You know how to make me stop." Tetrax said.

"Whahahahahahat?!" Kristin laughed out.

"You won't be afraid of me." Tetrax said as he kept tickling. "Especially since I have no intention of hurting you."

"OKAY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Kristin wailed. "I won't be afraid of you."

Tetrax stopped at last and Picked Kristin up in his strong arms. "Now, let's start this from the beginning. My name is Tetrax, Tetrax Shard."

The girl smiled. "And I'm Kristin. Sorry if I-"

Tetrax put a finger over her mouth. "I'm the one who's sorry." he said. "I treated you badly all because I was protecting this place. Instead, I made you deathly afraid of me."

"Well, maybe you can make it up to be by being my friend." Kristin said. "You see, I was having a bad day and wanted to be alone. But it's better to be with someone when you're feeling sad."

Tetrax smiled. "I couldn't agree more.

And so, Kristin and her new friend spent a fun filled day together. They played in the pool, watched a movie and when Kristin fell asleep, Tetrax carried her to bed and tucked her in.

And best of all, Kristin's bad day just melted away from her memory. So she had a good day after all.
