Music Break-a 60/362 oneshot
It was another boring day at Arctic base. Same old snow, same old Yeti, same old cadets...Numbuh 60 stared blankly at his weekly report. What could he write? Picking up his pen, he found the ink had frozen solid...
"GAHHHHHHHH! WHY ME!" Numbuh 60 roared, throwing the pen down in frustration. He really wanted a break from all this snow...
"Getting Cabin fever, soldier?" A voice said, startling him. He whirled around, saluting as he said"Numbuh 362 mam!" "At ease, Patton" the blond preteen said, chuckling lightly.
"What are you doing down here, Rachel?" Patton said, flopping into his chair. "I just came to say hi...and give you this gift" Rachel said, her chocolate-brown eyes lighting up in kindness. Taking a small CD out of her sweatshirt pocket, she put it on his desk. Then she left, having to get back to work.
Curious, Patton looked at the CD on his desk. It contained a mixture of Vivaldi and Beethoven-his two favorite composers. Attached to the CD was a note, saying:
"Play this whenever you need a break from your work-Rachel" Smiling, Patton put the disk in his jacket pocket. He'd play it later-after he dealt with the new cadets.
