Erik says a few idiotic things and makes the dazed line of Dauntless head out into the frigid night. Everyone boards a train. I am almost there when an outstretched hand reaches towards mine. I take hold of it, and Tobias pulls me up. I grip his hand. The train moves in a direction that was familiar but hard to remember, and my grip on Tobias's hand tightens.
