"Damon you know I hate surprises!" Elena whined as Damon pushed her forward with his hands still secure on over her eyes. It was right she hated surprises but Damon would not listen.
"I know but you'll love it. And we are almost there." Damon said
"And open your eyes!" Damon said as he removed his hands from her eyes.
"You got me a puppy!" Elena squealed as she ran towards the puppy.
"Yes- what no!" Damon said confused looking at the lost puppy
"Then why are we here?" Elena looked at him with confusion in her eyes.
"I was going to show you the sunset." Damon said frowning.
"Oh well I like the puppy better. Ohh can we keep him? Oh pleeeease!" she said drawing out the please.
"No." he said with a frown. He really didn't want a puppy. Puppies were noisy, gross, and just plain annoying.
"Pleeease!" she said with a pout that she knew Damon could't resist.
"No." "Please!." "No." "Please!" "No." Please!" After a while Elena gave up, she got and with tears in her eyes faced the puppy. "Bye puppy." she said. Then facing Damon "lets go."
Damon hated her cry. He would do anything to make her happy.
"Fine." he said with a frown.
"What!" she said shocked.
"I said fine." "Really?" "Yes."
"Oh thank you!" she ran up to him and kissed him.
"What are we going to name him?" he said breaking away.
"Oh look he has a name tag!" she said going over to the puppy.
"It says 'Tequila' on it." she said.
"I like it." he said walking over to her and their new puppy.
"Me too." she said looking up at him with her big doe eyes.
"Come on lets get home."
And with that she picked up Tequila and they walked home.
